Mike Sadeghpour
President and Founder

Mike Sadeghpour is the president and founder of ReGenerate, a positive psychology training company dedicated to helping sales teams and other professional organizations increase performance. Mike works directly with client team leaders and individuals through one-to-one coaching sessions and workshops. In addition, Mike also oversees the company’s growth, day-to-day operations, and client management efforts.

Prior to founding ReGenerate, Mike was the vice president of North American sales at Forrester Research. From 1998 through 2003, he spearheaded multiple initiatives designed to drive sales and scale the sales organization. Mike was also responsible for integrating the North American and global sales forces when Forrester acquired Giga Information Group. Additionally, he implemented the company’s selling methodology, pipeline structure, opportunity management systems, account plans, and operational reviews which highlighted the vital signs of the sales organization.

Mike’s sales experience includes more than 18 successful years at national and international companies where he worked in a variety of roles such as individual contributor receiving top-performer awards; manager of multinational accounts; vice president of customer satisfaction, reporting directly to the CEO; and vice president of North American sales for a $200 million technology company that composed of more than 200 salespeople and support staff.

Mike holds a masters degree in psychology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, focusing on performance, goal orientation, goal setting, and feedback. He also recently completed a six-month University of Pennsylvania program on authentic happiness, specializing in positive psychology. Prior to that, Mike served as an NCAA Division I assistant men’s ice hockey coach at Rensselaer where he conducted performance improvement field studies at the individual and team levels.

Spending the majority of his life in competitive sports, Mike was captain of Rensselaer’s champion ice hockey team which was voted one of the all-time top three college hockey teams by the Boston Globe. He is also member of his college and high school athletic halls of fame -- experiences which have contributed to his lifetime of building and leading successful teams.

Marnie Breton
Vice President of Strategic Operations

Marnie Breton is the vice president of strategic operations at ReGenerate, a positive psychology training company dedicated to helping sales teams and other professional organizations increase performance. In her role, Marnie spearheads all marketing efforts, such as creating the company’s messaging and market position as well as launching its second generation web site. She also directs ReGenerate’s business development by building partnerships that promote the company’s brand and difference. In addition, Marnie oversees strategic planning initiatives for short- and long-term growth, including identifying the key industries and job responsibilities that will benefit most from ReGenerate’s approach.

Before joining ReGenerate, Marnie contributed to the success of Forrester Research in both its marketing and sales departments. As marketing director, she was responsible for direct marketing, product marketing, and sales support — launching various strategic products, producing sales tools that aligned with the company’s sales methodology, and hiring an outside direct marketing firm to enhance customer reach. Prior to that, Marnie was sales manager of a $15 million region and an individual contributor ranked in the top 5% of the entire sales force and recognized for her consistency and long-term, quality business relationships.

Marnie also worked at AT&T Capital as a sales and marketing liaison, defining what resources the sales team needed to better reach their clients and launching such specified tools. At PC Connection she spent time as a sales representative and corporate sales marketing manager focusing on competitive intelligence, business development, and generating the company’s first electronic catalog.

Marnie holds a bachelor of science degree from Keene State College and spends much of her free time with her husband and three young, active sons.

Dr. Michael J. Kalsher

As a positive psychology trainer and facilitator for ReGenerate, Dr. Michael Kalsher brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to each of his client interactions. He believes so strongly in the powerful benefits of understanding and improving one’s thinking that he has dedicated his career to being an educator in the field of psychology.

Along with his contribution to ReGenerate, Dr. Kalsher is currently an associate professor of psychology at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, a position he has held since 1993. He is also Rensselaer’s president of behavioral ergonomics and an adjunct faculty member of the psychology department at State University of New York at Albany.

Prior to this, Dr. Kalsher was an assistant professor of psychology at Rensselaer and served as the institute’s chair of the department of cognitive science. Other appointments and positions he has held include: adjunct faculty member, department of managerial policy and organization at Rensselaer; consultant, Capitol Hill Testing Service; president, Make-A-Difference, Inc. consulting firm; and computer consultant, the John F. Kennedy Institute of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Dr. Kalsher has received nearly $1 million in grants to conduct his research on various projects. He is a published author and contributor to numerous articles in a wide range of psychological journals and publications. Additionally, Dr. Kalsher is a charter member of the American Psychological Society and has served on numerous department and institutional advisory boards and committees.

Dr. Kalsher holds a bachelor of science degree in psychology as well as a master of science degree in applied/experimental psychology from Montana State University. He received his Ph.D. in industrial/organizational psychology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.

Dr. Bernadette Racicot

Dr. Bernadette Racicot works with ReGenerate as a positive psychology trainer and facilitator. ReGenerate clients benefit from her extensive knowledge in the area of organizational psychology and her experience as an advisor to senior executives and other individuals at a wide range of large and small companies.

In addition to her current contribution at ReGenerate, Dr. Racicot joined KnowledgePool in 2001 as the executive director of consulting. In this role she has worked with major corporations such as American Standard, Pitney Bowes, Fujitsu, GlaxoSmithKline, and Sabre to create and implement strategic talent development initiatives. Her efforts at these companies provide guidance in enhancing organizational effectiveness.

Prior to this, Dr. Racicot was responsible for global leadership and personal development programs at SmithKline Beecham. She also worked with the vaccines sales group to realign territories and improve organizational effectiveness. Here, she provided individual coaching and advice in the areas of organizational development and effectiveness.

Dr. Racicot was also an associate professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and taught courses in industrial organizational psychology, human resources management, and organization behavior and statistics. During her tenure at Rensselaer, Dr. Racicot was very active in organizational consulting and research, publishing more than 25 articles, book chapters, and conference proceedings in the areas of motivation and performance, organizational justice, and compensation.

Dr. Racicot received her Ph.D. in industrial/organizational psychology from the University of Akron.
